Hood zipper flimsy

Very nice, but..
Looove the looks of the coat but the hood is flimsy and after one wash the hood doesn’t stay on quite like it should anymore in the corners. Good design in theory, but a bit too complex for a 5yo when the buttons pop off that connect the two coats at recess and I’m not there to help.

Kid’s Fleece Lined 3-in-1 Color Block Jacket
This is a fantastic jacket and size 5 fit my 5 year old great-nephew perfectly! Due to the ever changing New England weather, he has had the opportunity to wear all three pieces individually and together as one piece. The blue and black colors are stunning.

Do your child's teacher a favor....
And also spare yourself the headache of fixing the sleeves/cuffs every blessed time the jacket is taken off. If your child has any sensory issues, the cuffs with the double jacket situation will make them cuckoo. Signed, a kindergarten teacher who cringes every time she has to the fix this coat (which is after every recess)

Light weight
Seems thin to be effective during skiing, outer layer is more like a windbreaker and inner layer is like a light sweatshirt. Paid $180 but arrived with a tag on it that says $159 🙄

Awesome jacket but w/2 different prices
I paid $189 with tax for this jacket but when I received it, the price tag displayed $159. Will LL Bean reimburse me the difference despite, it is advertised as $189 on the LL Bean website?
