Great swim wear with caveat
I have used these swim shorts for my weekend swims at the local high school. I sized up
to the black in xl. It is very comfortable and I like the length. Considering the light use over the last two years- the fabric has faded compared to my llbean tankini top- also black, and the waistband has stretched dangerously. LLBEAN - please consider adding a draw string. I still recommend, but it might not hold up for daily use.

Seem great, except...
I was so excited to try on my new bathing suits when they arrived, and very pleased to find that everything I ordered fit well and looked good on me. But then I took another look in the mirror, and found one fatal flaw with these shorts - even though they felt great and were the correct size for me, they gave me very obvious cameltoe. I tried to shift and adjust things, but no matter what I did, there it was. I think it was particularly obvious because of the lighter color I chose, and possibly caused because of the width of the crotch gusset - maybe it's just that there is extra fabric that needs to find somewhere to go, and for most of the folks wearing this style bottom there is one obvious place for that fabric to go. Anyway, I hope that others don't have this issue, but a word of warning. When trying these on, pay special attention before deciding to keep these and wear them in public. I will be returning them for more traditional bottoms that will ironically be less revealing than these were for me.
(I hate that "how did it fit" is a required field for reviews - neither too large nor too small, but just too anatomical...)

Incredible Swim Shorts
Thank you LL Bean for carrying swim shorts. I have a large booty & regular bikini bottoms don't provide any coverage for me and make me feel very exposed. These shorts are supportive & provide coverage, but still look super cute and sporty. These would also be great for paddling and other water sports. I am 5'2'' 125 pounds and got a size 8.
