Stiff
The foot bed and toe box fit very comfortably however the ankle area is extremely stiff and rubbed my skin raw just walking around the house. Two stiff for me or they were returned. I wear a size 9.5 shoe but sized up to 10.

Expected Better Quality
For what I paid for these boots, I’m not impressed with the durability. I bought these boots about 4 months ago and they are already coming apart (see pic).
I had a pair of Vasque brand hiking boots that have lasted over 5 years. I tried the Oboz because I wanted to use my Bean bucks and LLB doesn’t carry Vasque.

Comfortable out of the box
I love these boots. They are comfortable and balanced. I love the wider toe box especially since my feet are very broad. I know from previous OBOZ that they will protect me from stabby sticks and whatnot. I feel safe wearing these boots

Excellent quality boots but very stiff
These hiking boots are very high quality, well made boots but I am struggling with the fit/breaking them in. They hurt my ankles and the foot bed is hard, like cement. I have thought about returning them but not sure LL Bean would take them back. I keep hoping they will break in. IF they are comfortable when broken in, they seem like they'd be excellent boots that would last a long time

Best boot ever!!
First pair of hiking boots that don’t hurt my feet. Never had a blister from these boots. I wear them every day of the year. I work in them and hike in them!! Love these boots!!
