Quality Lacking
I bought these towels thinking they would be good quality towels. The towels are nice and soft and dry pretty quickly. However after only 2 washings the bath towels have faded and look months old. The hand towells and wash clothes did not fade and work well. Since the price was $120 for the set i expected more. These towells do not hold up to the quality products that i am use to getting from LL Bean. I do not recommend them.

Beautiful but smaller than the original.
Towels are beautiful but they are smaller than the towels they replaced in the inventory formally sold by Bean— many years ago. The new ones are softer than the original ones.

Pretty but not absorbent
We think these towels are really beautiful, but unfortunately they don't work well for actually drying. They are only slightly absorbent, so are uncomfortable to use. Does anyone know if there is anything we can do about that? For example, will repeated washings in very hot water help?
