The name says it all: our extra-cozy blanket features a soft cotton side, a plush fleece side and warm down fill. It's like three cozy blankets in one.
- Bottom fabric: 100% polyester.
- Inner liner: 100% polyester.
- Top fabric: 100% cotton.
- Filling: white down 90%, polyester fiber batting 10%.
- Wash and dry in large commercial machine.
- Sewn-through squares keep fill from shifting, eliminating cold spots.

Beautiful, but not working for us.
I ordered this in King size and it fits well on the bed. Love the color, and the look. The problem we have is that the Ultraplush side of the blanket is very silky soft that when my husband rolls over the whole blanket moves with him. It then ends up heading for the floor on his side. Several times during the night I have to grab the edge and pull it back over to cover me. We tried several things to make it work. We took off the cotton sheets and put on flannel thinking that it would keep it from moving so easily. We also tried tucking the foot end tightly down into the end of the bed and shifting the mattress to keep it there against the backboard. That didn’t work either. Also the cotton top is quite noisy when you move blanket in bed. I am thinking about returning it, but hate to as I love the look. My recommendation would be to put a softer cotton fabric on top and a plush underside that isn’t so silky and slippery. I feel LLBean makes wonderful products and I order from them frequently. This blanket looks beautiful on the bed, but is very frustrating at night

Glad to have it
Even on sale this blanket was a stretch but every night as it gets colder outside I am glad I bought it. I love the green color too. I use it fleece side down sandwiched between two other lightweight blankets and have had no trouble with the blanket shifting. I absolutely love it.

I live in Alaska and have dreamed of this blanket for years. This is my second purchase of this blanket and it still hasn’t made it home with me. Both times that I have purchased one while visiting my daughters, my daughters have fallen in love with them and the blankets have remained with them. These blankets are well worth the money!

Lower Quality for More Money
L.L. Bean used to offer a similar version of this blanket, which was plush and down, but the fabric was sateen. I LOVED those blankets, and I was slowly buying one in every color, and then, for whatever reason, the sateen version was discontinued. Thinking this one would be similar, I went ahead and purchased the queen size in Foggy Blue.
From the moment I unpackaged the blanket, I could tell it wasn't the same high-quality product I'd come to love. In comparison, the fabric of this blanket feels cheap, it's not nearly as soft, and there's significantly less down, but what's truly disappointing is that this particular blanket is significantly more expensive than the sateen version.
I understand that costs are going up, and I would have happily paid more for the discontinued blanket, but to pay more money for lower quality is absurd.
I gave away the blanket, and I will not be purchasing it again.
For 20+ years, I've been an L.L. Bean customer, and this experience has caused me to hesitate to purchase anything else from them. Any time I think about buying another L.L. Bean product, I'm forced to wonder where else they've cut quality and increased prices.
