Practical overshirt
This twill weave shirt is a little heftier in weight than a typical twill weave. It provides a little extra warmth, layers nicely over a base layer, and is so comfortable to wear. I have several 1912 overshirts in various colors and enjoy them all.

The petite size I ordered was too small so I returned it. They didn’t have my size so that was that. However, I also didn’t like the fabric. It was not very flexible.

Heavier than expected
Love the color and fit. Buttons are an issue as mentioned by others. The shirt is very heavy and I like the on seam pockets. However if its unbuttoned the excess material is off putting.

Pretty, but disappointing
My wife and I each bought two of these shirt jackets because the plaids were so pretty. I do wear mine occasionally. They are not as warm and cozy as my flannel shirts. The pockets are nice though. They do need to be ironed after washing because the bottoms roll up. And one of hers got a pull which then unraveled . She got rid of them.

It's a keeper!
This overshirt is exactly what I wanted! The temps here haven't fallen yet but I'm already enjoying my shirt. Colors are beautiful! Thank you for this beautiful garment alon!g with those I purchased recently. I consider LL Bean to be MY store!

Great fall jacket
Love the colors , heavy weight fabric that feels very comfortable even after washing. My regular size wasn’t available (M) so ordered petite Large, perfect fit after shrinking a bit.

whats with the buttonholes
I bought this shirt and love the material and color. The buttonholes are small and difficult if not impossible to button / unbutton. I am considering returning it as much as I hate to. Where's the quality control?
