Not slightly fitted
There is definitely a range for LL Bean sweaters when a description says the fit is "slightly fitted". This sweater, while I like the midweight feel, is not slightly fitted. There's no 'fit' about it. It's a box. It is not attractive on me whatsoever. I ordered another sweater at the same time which was also "slightly fitted" (same size), and you can see how much extra material there is on the sweater underneath (the greenish-blue sweater is what I'm reviewing here), a good inch on either side. If I go down a smaller size, it probably won't have the arm length or waist length I need. Disappointed in the fit.

Wide sides
The seams from the armpit to the hips are super wide. The sweater looks like a bag on me with a fitted waist. I’m not sure if it was cut wrong or what. Another shirt of the same size I have fits me appropriately whereas this sweater is so wide and causes it to bunch at the waist.

Pretty but not easycare.
I loved the look and feel of the sweater, but after washing, the sweater it seems to hang wide at the waist and wrinkles quickly.

Perfect dressy casual sweater
I love this sweater! It’s perfect for cool-ish fall weather, and it fits perfectly either alone or over a layering tank. I especially like the long ribbed cuffs to keep the sleeves from flopping over my hands. I wore it to my 70th birthday party with black slim fit knit pants and black slip-on shoes. I’m 4’11” and 110 lbs and ordered a petite XS.
