Great Warm Jacket BUT the relentless feathers!
Bought this in 2022 and I am just reviewing it now. It is a warm jacket no doubt. What bugs me the most is the relentless feathers keeps coming out with each use. It sticks to the fleece lining in the jacket and it transfers to your inner clothes. This is especially noticeable when you wear dark colored shirts. I have had down jackets from LL Bean before but they were not fleece lined. Although feathers would still come out, it is not as relentless as a fleece lined down jacket. Keep this in mind when buying a down jacket with fleece lining

Size up
The stitching around the shoulder and sleeve area feels a bit strange. My husband normally wears size XL and it fits him comfortably with enough room to lift his arms. But with this jacket, we had to size up to XXL; otherwise, he couldn’t move his arms comfortably. Luckily, I read the previous reviews. The quality is good.

You might be a bit sad to pay full price, but the coat is a good thing. 5'11 185ish size XL. The important thing is that the XL is the same as a standard size L. Other than that fairly good quality, Actually contains some down, although not heavily insulated. Some comment on the fleece lining that extends a short way into the sleeves being sticky or perhaps small arm openings. I did not find this true in any way. (I have seen such things before, and I've tried them all)

Arm holes are too small
Like others have said, the arm holes are just too small for this to fit comfortably. The rest of the fit is fine. If I got a larger size I'd be swimming in it. I'm curious to know if this is limited to the production run of the one color that is currently discounted (maybe that's why it's discounted?) or if it is across all options.

Legendary quality; nice and warm
Comes with LL Bean's legendary quality. Nice color combination. Fits well. Come next winter, I expect this jacket will be nice and warm. Definitely recommend anything from LL Bean. Size is XL.
