Our original SunSmart™ apparel, Tropicwear was first introduced in 1992 to protect destination anglers from the hot tropical sun. Customers quickly discovered Tropicwear wasn't just for fishing, using it for just about anything outdoors. It's been updated with a better fit, new stretch woven fabric that's softer and better ventilation. Best of all, Tropicwear still provides UPF 50+ sun protection, or about 10 times more than a white cotton tee.

- Machine wash and dry.
- New vertical back caping works well with fishing packs.
- Made with soft, lightweight polyester/nylon weave with comfortable built-in stretch.

Huge ugly logo
I ended up returning even before I wore it. I hated the huge logo on the chest and the SPF rating on the sleeve. I wanted to be able to wear it many different places, not just outside and I didn’t want a logo everywhere.

Highly recommended!
I have had a lot of skin cancers so I need to be covered up when outside and have a hard time finding a shirt that will protect me from the sun and feel comfortable. This shirt is what I've been looking for! The subtle plaid is a welcome change from a solid color, I just wish there were more colors offered because I would definitely buy a few more.

Too large
I bought this style shirt in a petite medium. It was a bit small so I ordered 2 in a petite large. Wow, what a huge difference. It's so big. Washed and dried and only shrunk a small amount. Seems like an x-large. Why such a huge difference. Love the shirt for work, but cannot wear because its just too big.

Love this shirt!
This shirt fits just right. I bought the pastel lilac and loved it so much I bought two more. However, they are a bit warmer then the ones that I have purchased in the past that were 55% nylon and 45% polyester.
