Our original SunSmart™ apparel, Tropicwear was first introduced in 1992 to protect destination anglers from the hot tropical sun. Customers quickly discovered Tropicwear wasn't just for fishing, using it for just about anything outdoors. It's been updated with a better fit, new stretch woven fabric that's softer and better ventilation. Best of all, Tropicwear still provides UPF 50+ sun protection, or about 10 times more than a white cotton tee.

Fantastic Shirt
Tropic-wear Short-Sleeve Shirt was true to it's description. I stayed cool while wearing the shirt during a hot day. The shirt even looked better after the first wash.

You Can Beat The Heat With A Tropicwear Shirt!!
I love these shirts, I have three of them. They are very comfortable and breathable. I live in Florida so the summer months are very hot and humid!!

Don't put chest pockets on women's clothing!
This is a very, well-made shirt. I am a 40-D chest size & normally wear a women's large. The large size in this shirt was a bit too large so I returned. I would have re-ordered in a medium but was put off by the chest pockets. When will designers learn that women do not want or use chest pockets?

Comfortable and flattering
I love this shirt and have it in almost every color. Size medium regular and tall because I like the longer fit over my bathing suit. Please make darker colors for next year for women. Navy, dark purple, black, etc. Fit is true to size and does not feel like plastic as your competitors does.
