Our original SunSmart™ apparel, Tropicwear was first introduced in 1992 to protect destination anglers from the hot tropical sun. Customers quickly discovered Tropicwear wasn't just for fishing, using it for just about anything outdoors. It's been updated with a better fit, new stretch woven fabric that's softer and better ventilation. Best of all, Tropicwear still provides UPF 50+ sun protection, or about 10 times more than a white cotton tee.

Great for Birding in the Tropics!
Excellent fit, great pockets. Wore on a birding tour in Costa Rica and it kept me cool. Breast pocket large enough for iPhone and closes securely with Velcro. Would like it in some darker colors (especially greens) for birding.

Love these shirts
I have this shirt in three different colors and I find that I wear them year around.
A word about the logo above left pocket:
I don’t mind having the logo, but if you iron this shirt (even with cool iron setting 3 Polyester) the logo will melt and come
off. I didn’t expect that.
Otherwise, great shirt, good fit, lightweight, good colors, versatile piece.
