The hat itself was well made, looked good. I returned it because it was just too big and floppy for my liking. Way too much, in my opinion, for a petite person.

Hat is great but not the color I want it
That hat is a great hat. I am returning it though because the last time I got the hat that I’ve had for five years. It was more of a cream color. This is more of a green color. The picture of the hat does not show the true color of the hat that arrived. It’s a great product, but it’s not the same color hat. May you have a blessed day.

Sweat band insists on hanging downward.
I own the same hat in the lighter color and liked it because it comes in size small and can be made tighter as well. I bought the gray color and it is not the same. The size "small" is actually somewhat larger but not a big problem. My complaint is that the inner band/sweat band insists on hanging downward on my forehead. I ended up keeping the hat and sewing the band in place so it faces the correct way. I did not have this problem with my previous hat which was bought several years ago.

Flap missing
The flap to protect against sunburn, the reason for the purchase, was missing. Obviously incredibly poor quality control. I expected more from L.L. Bean.

Hat with a wide brim.
I bought this to replace an older sun hat. I wanted one with a wide brim to shade more of my face and neck. This hat is light weight which is nice. It fits well and I have worn it on windy days, and it stays in place. I have not used the back flap yet.

Great purchase !
Love the hat . The color is a soft green. The neck cover rolls and tucks nicely into back of hat. When I tried the hat on in the store I wasn't even aware it had that feature and I was pleasantly surprised.
