Close but not great
I agree with all the reviews saying these would be great pants if they just had some elastic on the waist. I think they look nice, they don't feel like they're going to tear when you bend over...but listen to the negative reviews. I told myself "there's a drawstring, just tie it right...what are these people complaining about". You will be pulling these pants up frequently, regardless of how you tie them.

Seat too tight
Seat, when bending at all, pulls down the waistband quickly. Needs more room in seat. Also the length needed was 35" but that was secondary.

Back door low rider
The lining unfortunately affects the fit, particularly in the seat, making the garment a bit tight and riding low. Hello, plumber‘s butt.

Perfect trail to town pants.
These are simply great pants. I've worn these hiking, camping, and in the office (with a shirt that covers the drawstring). They're plenty durable, I've slipped on scree and they still look good as new, my Arc'teryx pants tore when the same thing happened a year ago. They're really great for early mornings, just slip them on and go, there's just enough elastic in the waistband to keep them up so I can get moving and tie them off later.
