Women's Mountain Pro Polartec fleece jacket
Love this women's mountain pro fleece jacket. I bought a small, but a medium would also have fit. A bulky sweater would fit under a medium for me, not so much for a small. I am 5'8" and about 125 - 130 lbs. This jacket is more fitted and the fleece seems to regulate body temps nicely. I regularly shop at Bean when sales, discounts, or with bean bucks. This jacket is very well made. I am happy with my purchase and imagine this jacket being grabbed throughout the seasons.

Excellent
I chose the emerald green fleece, which is rich and vibrant and really looks pretty. Also, it is very warm but not so high pile it does not fit well under a winter coat for layering. It is soft and comfortable.

A Must Have
LOVE IT !!!! A warm jacket for those chilly days. It has a breast pocket plus 2 inside pockets and also 2 zip outside pockets, a must have for all you need with out having to take any purse or bag. It's a little fitted, so perhaps order a size up, which will also help if you are needing to layer.

Keeps you warm
Really nice polartec. Like the fit and length. It is very warm ..... so I won't be able to wear it most of the year. I bought this jacket because I was searching for a polartec fabric and this is the only one I could find. Would like to see more polartec in a mid-weight.

Comfortable jacket that won’t go out of style
This is a great fleece jacket for spring or fall. In colder weather I wear it under a raincoat or down jacket for added warmth. The dark forest green is exactly the color I was looking for. The one thing that surprised me is that the L.L. Bean logo on the front doesn’t show up very well.

Womans Mountain Pro Polartec Fleece Jacket
I love this jacket - got the dark green/forest (my favorite color) - glad to see L L bean is offering more dark colors for women instead of all the pastels/faded tones. I got a Large & it just fits - probably should have ordered XL instead since I might have layers underneath, but it is fine. Being older, I prefer a looser fit instead of snugger fit, so I would suggest if you don't like something snug, order a size larger. It is just the right level of comfort for warmer winter temps.

This is my favorite fleece jacket of all time! Warmer than expected, beautiful black forest green color, flattering fit, and works very well paired with a white LLBean pima cotton long sleeve crew neck top and signature barrel pants in either dark indigo or dusty olive.

Design flaws disappoint
The Polartec fabric is very nice, unfortunately the slightly stretchy Polartec is paired with a very inflexible fabric overlays on the sleeves, back yoke, and front yoke resulting in uncomfortable binding when moving your body. There is also a horizontal seam across the back that is very rigid and uncomfortable. Stretchy fabric and inflexible fabric/seams do not work well together. To get sleeves long enough to cover my wrists properly I ordered a size larger than usual (chronic issue with finding clothing, not specific to this item) so the body of the garment is excessively loose fitting. I wish you offered tall sizes in your women's clothing line - that would be greatly appreciated! This item is being returned.

Classy Fleece jacket
This jacket is beautifully styled, and Polartec makes very high quality fleece. The jacket is very warm, and though it is breathable and does not actually block the wind, when I wore a long sleeve shirt under it (not even a wool layer necessarily) I found it to be comfortable in windy weather in the upper forties to low fifties. The jacket is very chic looking, but it may go back because the sleeves are too long for my very short frame (under 5'), and I was looking for something not quite as warm.
