This IS a Beautiful Coat!
THIS IS a BEAUTIFUL coat- if you have very skinny arms! Mine are fairly normal and I wouldn't have been able to wear any other item on my arms.

I was looking for a wool coat, car length, plaid, and with a hood. It fit all these requirements. The only reason for not 5 stars is there is no lining. When the wind blows I cal feel it through my arms and wish it was a warmer coat. Otherwise it is a good looking coat!

Great jacket!
I was worried it might not be warm enough for my winter trip to France but it was perfect. It's longer than expected but that was nice to add more coverage to my legs. An inside liner would have been nice so it could go on over your sweaters easier but definietly not a deal breaker and it's super cute. I highly recommend and would buy this again!

No lie — I get complimented on this coat *daily*
I’ve had this coat for over a year now. I was initially hesitant to keep it because it’s fairly long, and I’m fairly short (5’2”). I bought a size medium because it seems to fit my body type better than a small. The fact that it wasn’t lined sort of turned me off at first, but I got used to it (and it actually feels warmer than other lined wool coats I’ve owned before!)
Anyway, I don’t know what it is about this coat – but it literally attracts compliments from everybody. It’s almost become a joke for my husband and I! Just yesterday, while in line for ice cream, a woman comes up out of nowhere & tells me she loves my jacket and wants to know where I got it! It happens allllll the time. I guess it must look really nice?! I love the huge front pockets — they’re way easier for storing my daughter’s myriad snacks and whatnot than typical side pockets. They also easily hold my phone and, if needed, a wallet. This is a great coat if you’re trying to go purse-free.
My only complaint, after a full year of ownership is that parts of it are starting to pill mildly. Nothing I can’t take care of with a fuzzbuster, though.

Replacement for a tweed coat from UK
I had originally purchased an Irish tweed duffel coat from the UK for my trip to UK this Christmas; Christmas in London. When the coat came from the UK, I was very disappointed in the fit and style.
