Low Waist, Weak Elastic
The waist is lower than pictured, and the elastic is so weak that they keep sliding down as you move. I found another L.L. Bean product that's surprisingly better: Men's Bean's Cotton Knit Pajamas, Sleep Pants. Even though those are called "sleep pants," they will look better in the gym than these Comfort Stretch Docks.

Comfortable, but need some improvements.
I have 3 pairs of these, and wear them quite a bit at home, or for a trip to the grocery store. They’re very comfortable, and hold up well over time. However, they’re a little short for my liking in my normal pant length. They’re also a little warmer than I’d like for what should be a year round pant. Coolmax may help with sweat, but you can tell you’re wearing a pant containing polyester. I’d like to see the Coolmax percentage reduced by 5-10% perhaps to help with that. I do like the Elastane, though. Finally, as many others have noted, for a men’s pant, especially in this price range, they need a real zipper.

Favorite Everyday Pants
Have worn these pants for several years, so need to replenish worn out ones every once in a while. Only thing not perfect for me is width of elastic waistband. Wish they were two inches.

Expensive for what you get
I DO like these pants. The fit and comfort are there. But why do you have the stitching outline for a zippered fly, but no zippered fly? Most Women's pants have no zippers for obvious reasons. Men take care of number 1 business standing up. I don't like having to pull down the front of the pants, especially in public places. For $80 you can add a zipper.

Light weight trousers that are suitable for very casual wear, though somewhat over priced. The sizing was fairly accurate.

Liked the style could use a higher waist . Sits to low for my big boy frame, the multi sport fit with more room in the seat but like the cotton in the deckpant
