Perfect base-layer and multi-use shirt.
So comfortable! Currently wearing it as a base layer for various outdoor excursions on an Alaskan cruise. Not only that, but occasionally wore it as a comfortable shirt on the ship. I did want it to be a tad loose fitting. My local LLB store had one in large, which is the size shirt I normally wear. It fit almost skin tight, which was not what I wanted. I ordered an XL on line and found it to be perfect for what I was looking for. Oh, did I mention how comfortable it is?!

Love this shirt.
Wore this a few times since I purchased in April and love it. On some cool 45 to 50 degree morning walks I wore this under my light top shirt and I was wonderfully warm, but not overheated. I like the fit and toasty neck line. This is a great shirt and I plan to wear as a mid layer and even as a casual active top.

Toasty And Cozy
Warm and breathable. Comfortable against the skin. Size is a liitle off. Long sleaves but tight in chest neck and shoulders. Washed up great in cold water but dry flat for best shape.

new favorite shirt
Got this for husband and it instantly became his favorite shirt. It's a perfect weight to be a base layer in cold weather, cozy, soft, beautiful color (heathery tan/brown color). The XL tall is long enough for his very long arms. The only knock against it is that the black overlock thread is used not just on the flat lock seams, but as a finish detail on the little piece of fabric that backs up the zipper. That is, this bit of lining is not hemmed, but rather just serged. And there is a flaw in the stitching. As it wraps up and over the top of the zipper, this little bit of unfinished-looking trim is visible and conspicuous whether the zipper is open or closed. The rest of the shirt is so nice, it's not a deal breaker--not sending it back. I think I can probably modify it somehow to look a bit more finished, but I don't think I should have to. I'd call this a real design fail.

Love the style, not the fit
way to short in the body. Returning for a tall version. Hopefully a better fit. As purchased, woulodn’t stay tucked with least movement. Even used their sizing model. Nope!

I never review anything but this line by ll bean is so amazing. The top is cut really well, thin, soft and so effortlessly warm. You can tell it was made with care. A staple on super cold days.
