With the same rugged material as our zip-off version, these Cresta Pants are lined to keep kids warm on chillier days from the bus stop to the trail.
Our ultratough Cresta fabric exceeds our testing standards in the lab, so you can count on these pants to stand up to repeated rock scrambling and rugged play. The durable nylon is suprisingly lightweight, exceptionally breathable, and Bluesign®-approved to help offset impact on the environment. Soft fleece lining adds to the comfort and ensures the fun lasts well into colder weather.

Comfy, warm and look great
This is our third pair of these pants, my son (9) loves them. He's a kid who normally chooses sweatpants so these are a nice step up. They are soft, comfortable and look nice. They are great for spring and fall when you don't need snowpants, but want to be warm and water-resistant playing outside.

Disappointed - Need Adjustable Waist or Belt Loops
We really like the fabric and wanted these to work, but they are big in the waist for our skinny boy. The thing we were most disappointed with is that there isn't an adjustable waist built in or belt loops to add your own belt.

major sizing problems
I bought two sizes for my 9yr old niece to try on- the size 10 was too tight in the waist, but perfect length. The size 12--only 1 size up!, was a whopping 7 inches too long, but otherwise it fit. I don't have kids, but I really don't think children grow 7 inches between consecutive sizes.

Fit great and used for two seasons.
I know these pants are a little on the pricey side, but with LL Bean, I almost always get two seasons of wear before my son fully outgrows the item. As a bonus, everything wears and washes wonderfully. Great product and my son likes them. Great choice!
