Not good for warm climates like Florida
This product started off great and I kept it outside in the sun for just two seasons. It didn’t stand up to the sun and the thin wood spreader bar split. LL bean also would not warranty it as they said the split bar was “normal wear at tear”. If you plan on bringing it inside every time that you use it I guess it would be good. It’s just not durable and LL bean won’t warranty it.

FYI Duracord is not cotton but synthetic fibers.
I am in the market for a cotton hammock, had to chat with someone at LL Bean to get the information this is made out of synthetic fibers. They weren’t able to tell me if it was chemically treated to be anti mildew but my guess is yes.
