We've made the chino more comfortable than ever, in soft-washed cotton chambray with stretch for ease. In a versatile ankle style with a drawstring elastic waist that's easy to pull on and looks great too.
It's not easy to make a classic even better, but we did. First, we added a touch of stretch to traditional cotton and washed it for exceptional softness and ease. Then, we added a full elastic waistband for comfort worthy of lounging and style ready for any occasion.

Heavy, stiff and would be too warm in the summer
After reading some of the reviews of the Women's Lakewashed Pull-on Chinos in Dark Chambray, I'm wondering if what I received are the same ones people are describing! Just taking them out of the plastic bag, they felt weird - almost like plastic if that makes sense. They were much thicker than I imagined Chambray should be, and stiff, and even though I wasn't going to, I did try them on to see what they were like. There's nothing about these pants that I liked and they are definitely going back - the colour, material or fit. Maybe the lighter colours are soft and comfortable, or maybe after washing these they become that, but I highly doubt it.

Beautiful natural indigo blue
Really like these, despite tightness at the knee when sitting. But great combination of full in thigh area and snug in the leg. Beautiful color and soft but sturdy material and surprisingly comfortable waist band. Wish draw strings had never allowed companies to cheapen the waistband, but they are ubiquitous now! Bought the shorts too, but had to order a size up

Love these in chambray
Love these chambray pants. Not quite a jean - cooler fabric. Washes beautifully. Lightweight for travel. The mainstay of my summer pants wardrobe. I love that the are a simple straight leg when I don’t want to wear a wide leg! I’m 5’4” and these hit at my lower ankle
