Stylish & Functionsl
Love them. Stylish, waterproof, good with sweatpants and jeans. I ordered the Hunter ankle boots (also great boots) & when I compared them - I found these fit me better and didn't have as much space around the ankles. I love the brown along the bottom so that they match well with brown or black. I do have to bend down & pull them on for anyone looking to just step into them (you could probably step into them - would just size up as I picked my standard size).

Boots
Sorry, but these lovely boots lasted 2 1/2 months this fall, before both started to leak near the big toe.
Really disappointing. I wish they held up better.

I loved them until…….
These ankle boots were exactly what I wanted. They were a perfect fit with a rugged sole. I could totally rely on them for a very rainy day. I did not wear them often, I did not wear them out. Yet, I did wear them on a very rainy day yesterday … and noticed both boots had split on the seam. Back they went to LLB. I had seen reviewers comments this had happened to them but… I thought no, not me. Well, it did.

Design good comfort lacking
design is nice and looks good with different outfits. Found them to be waterproof but cold if not worn with heavy socks. Rough edges on rubber/top of boot is very uncomfortable and caused large irritation to lower leg after a day of wearing.

Twice defective
I was so excited for these boots! I wore them a few times and noticed a separation of the boot from the sole, leaving me with wet feet! I was able to exchange for another pair, which sadly after a few wears did the same thing! I will be returning, but am very skeptical about a third try.

Worse boots ever
LLBean boots is what my entire family gets for the last 20 plus years!!!!
These boots are awful. The first pair lasted 7 months, the water was coming in, wholes on the side of the boots. I returned them in November 2025. Got the same boots thinking it was a fluke, nope! I just returned the second pair. Wet feet again, little straps fell off. Mind you, these boots are only worn to walk the dog! Advise! Do not get these boots .
