Great go everywhere pants
I have an active lifestyle, and these pants work well for me. They are comfortable and flattering. I need to shed pounds and while I am working towards that loss, these pants are my BFF. I did not need to size up.

Five stars except for the SMELL
I bought petite small in black. They’re almost full length for me even in petite and I was aiming for ankle, but I’m 4’11” and very used to hemming. They fit nicely otherwise when I tried them on and they look nice enough for trail-to-town summer casual, which is what I wanted. The problem is the smell. They absolutely reek of perfume. It’s overwhelming. I will need to wash them more than once before they’ll be wearable. I can handle that so I’ll deal with it, but the rest of my order was shipped separately and I really hope it’s not smelly. The UPS label says this pair was shipped from a Stonefield retail store in Charlottesville VA. Either the artificial air freshener inside that store is horrendously strong, or someone there really REALLY needs to lay off the perfume bottle.

Perfect for 7-day spring hike in Italy
These worked perfectly for a multiday walking trip at Italy's Lago Maggiore. Comfortable, easy to wash and dry, and suitable for city walks as well for hiking.

Great pants, odd color
I recently purchased the dark taupe pants and they look exactly like the sage pants online and in the catalog. I asked multiple people to look and they said the same - that it looks like the sage, not dark taupe. I ordered a replacement pair and the result is the same? Otherwise, I really love the pants, cool, comfortable, great fit, but didn’t really want green pants!

Size inconsistent; love the pants
I have quite a few pair of the ankle length and love them; Love the feel, love the comfort, love the colors, love that they stay looking neat-and no ironing needed. Then I purchased a pair in medium Tall for a longer length for winter. The first pair medium Tall fit great, so I ordered another pair, same size, and they were way too tight! I am trying again today and really hoping the medium Tall will fit correctly, if not, I'm done with LL Bean; Sizing shouldn't be a hit or miss.
