Way too NarrowI was very excited about this sleeping bag and had eyed it for a few years. Unfortunately, it is way too narrow for my taste. I understand that the idea was this could also be a liner in cooler weather, but I would much rather a normal sized warm weather bag.

Good for warmer weather but.....I have used this bag for long bicycling trips during July for the past 5 years. When the weather is warm, it's comfortable. If the temps are cooler - below 60 degrees, the nylon gets "clammy" - i.e. - feels damp. I always air the bag every day and have never gotten it wet but the damp feeling persists. Since night time summer temps in upstate NY can vary quite a bit, I will probably upgrade to a better bag with a flannel lining.

LL Bean Adventure 50 Sleeping Back is top quality. The LL Bean Adventure 50 Sleeping Bag is high quality and worked out great on a three day canoe trip in western Maine with temperatures 65 degrees and higher. Very light weight and packable for long portage on the river. Would highly recommend this.

Great for summer backpacking and camping50 degrees might be a little optimistic for this bag, but it's a nice, summer-weight bag otherwise. I think if I was expecting it to get down into the 50s overnight, I'd just wear a little something to bed and this would be fine. I got this for summer camping and backpacking and it fits the bill great! Packs down to about the size of a football, and is pretty lightweight. Very glad I got it.
