Fine but go for the 10x42
We bought these for a one-in-a-lifetime family safari, having been told that each person should have binoculars. We also bought the slightly larger 10x42s. These are fine but would recommend spending a few more dollars for the 10x42s for animal and bird watching.

Compact and Sturdy Little Binoculars
These are a nice little pair of lightweight binoculars to keep by my window for a quick study of a bird or other wildlife in my backyard. I purchased them to replace an older pair whose outside surface grew "gummy" and sticky with age. These look like they wont develop that bad habit. The optics are clear and sharp and magnify just enough for my 87-year-old hands to keep steady. Highly recommended for casual use.

Better than I thought!
I received the binoculars and was very excited. The view is very clear, and functions if you need glasses and also if have deep eyes. I brought the binoculars Upstate and used them to watch birds. It has a neck strip, a cleaning flannel and carrying bag included. Allover - great product, great value.

Work as expected. Closest focus 25ft. Slight spherical aberration (color fringing.) Diopter adjustment weak (insufficient.) No lens caps so lint & dust became issue. Compact & easy to carry.
