Our heaviest-weight flannel, now available in Slightly Fitted. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Chamois Shirt Issue
My husband has been an LL Bean quality chamois shirt wearer for many, many years. All have reflected consistently good quality. He wanted to try a fitted version which works well except for the fact that it is 4” longer than the other shirts, too long to wear out and too much material to tuck in. Disappointing.

You wont find a more comfortable shirt
I have not had a bean shirt in a long time. These are the most comfortable shirts around. I use mine as a warmy shirt in the house and on cooler days outside. The wear is fantastic and the fit and finish feel like they will last a long long time. Considering buying one or two more but they are pricey

10/10 Quality. Be Mindful of Sizing
Great shirt, very high quality and sturdy material while also being very soft. I will definitely buy again. Only comment is to consider buying this slightly fitted version, even if you’re a bigger guy. I’m a XXL “standard” fit in every other brand, but a “fitted” XXL in LL Bean sizing. I was basically swimming in the standard size shirt. Still, the material and shirt itself are of the highest quality. Notably better than other name brands I wear.

Quality and great fit
Great quality and nice fit for my 22 yr old nephew who is tall and slim. It’s a bit on the long side which isn’t a problem since he is tall. He loves to wear this as a second layer. Also, the colors are beautiful, vibrant but not too intense.

My new flannel shirt
Comfortable, fits well. Perfect for 53 degree, overcast, and windy Francisco dank “summer weather” of June, July, and August. There are a few warm and sunny days in there where I won’t need the warmth of this shirt.
