This hard-wearing, but soft, flannel-lined heavyweight hooded sweatshirt will keep the cold out and the warmth in year after year.
The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.
- 91% cotton, 9% polyester.
- 100% cotton flannel lining; sleeves are lined with 100% polyester.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Triple-needle stitching adds durability.
- Taffeta-lined sleeves for easy on/off.
- Body is lined with soft flannel for extra warmth and comfort.
- Locker loop.
- Zip front.
- Specially-designed hood fits well even over a baseball cap.
- Front kangaroo pocket has interior security pocket.
- Underarm gussets for added mobility.

Nice Hooded Sweatshirt
While I like this Hoodie, it is comfortable and well made, I still have one which I purchased some twenty years ago, and comparing the two there are noticeable differences the zipper on the new one is lighter and doesn't have the option of partially opening it from the bottom which is a minor thing,also the outer material is lighter than my older one, that said I would buy again.

NEEDED a replacement for an old one so settled
I needed a replacement for an old worn one. I did not want the hood, but that was all that was made so I settled for that. I was undecided for fleece or flannel lining, but fleece was unavailable, so had to settle for flannel. But BIGGEST sin is that there is no inside or zippered pocket, and the (outside) pockets are shallow, so there is no trustworthy place for a phone

Almost perfect
The polyester sleeves ruin this sweatshirt. I finally cut them out, and it's the perfect sweatshirt now. I will need to stitch the ends of the flannel lining to keep it from fraying, and keep an eye on the cuffs to make sure nothing comes apart.
I am really leaving this review in the hope that LL Bean sees they almost have the perfect sweatshirt, and just need to remove the itchy, uncomfortable link in the sleeves.
