We listened to customer requests and added this taller version of our lightest snow boots for kids. They're perfect for deeper snow and extra protection from the cold.
When there's fun to be had in the snow, kids don't want anything to slow them down. That's why we made these insulated snow boots as light as we could, and included reliable warmth and extra height for comfort in harsh winter conditions.
- Slip-resistant rubber outsole with shaped lugs for extra stability during active play.

These boots wore out on the toe- the stitching came out and the insulation poked through- only worn for one month- the month we had snow- for my grandson- expected better quality from LLBean!

My kids love that they are not heavy
We live in MI, and all three of my daughters have loved these boots from K-6. I'm pretty sure I own them in all sizes 13-5. Two of the kiddos have wide feet and one has a narrow foot, but all are comfy in these boots (admittedly, the narrow foot likes thicker socks, which works out!). We had one pair of HEAVY winter boots (llbean) that my kids tolerated early on, but once they started using these, they never wanted to go back. I feel confident that their feet are warm and dry when they play in several inches of snow, without being so heavy like other winter boots! And the smallest pairs have held up well through all 3 kiddos. My 6th grader doesn't like to wear these to school now that she doesn't have recess out in the snow, but she still likes to wear them on the weekends for winter hikes, sledding, and skiing trips, as well as winter travel (like trips to Chicago).

Kids' Ultralight Snow Boots
I am a petite, senior adult, size 6 shoe. It is difficult to find light weight snow boots in my size with adequate sole tread. I purchased the above kids boots in size 5. They fit perfectly and are light weight for long walks.

Waterproof boots
My kiddo had boots that wouldn't keep her feet dry. Bought these and they work great. Has dry feet after playing outside at recess and hasn't had to use her extra socks I made her put in her backpack
