Not waterproof
Twice in the ocean and twice bag came undone after being properly buckled and rolled, poor design definitely not waterproof looks good, but that’s about it. Still waiting on my refund from L.L. Bean.

Great little pack
Pack is purfect I use it when fly fishing to hold my wallet, rain gear, first aid kit and TP. Along with my water purification kit. Falling in a stream I have assurance my things will stay dry.

LL Bean water proof bag
I recently had a house fire and no longer have my proven water proof bag for my cell phone and other valuables.I saw this on LL Bean, which is a trusted brand, and the reviews were good. I went to the beach and followed the directions, which were the same as my previous bag. I was floating in the water and the bag leaked. Thankfully my cell phone eventually dried out.

The material is great but the design is flawed. Folding it to waterproof the bag reduces it to a very small bag.

The bag is nice and will function well for
Motorcycle trips. I was disappointed that the tag attached indicated the price to be $10.00 less than the online price.

Bag seems to be waterproof but too big for a hip bag. I tied it to my paddleboard which worked out okay.
