Baggy and poor quality
What happened to the original quality material and fit? They These are baggy and do not fit like the jeans from earlier purchases. Maybe a fluke? I’m disappointed as I will be sending this pair back. I’ll try again and hope they match the tough, quality fit from previous ones.

Flexible Jeans!
Traditional cotton jeans are challenging for geezers like myself whose behinds have vanished while bellies have expanded. For pants that fit best slightly below the waist, keeping one‘s pants from slipping off puts uncomfortable stress on tightened belts. And heaven help us at TSA‘s belt removal rules! Praise be Bean, since their flex jeans allow greater flex at the waist, to keep one‘s pants on, without cinching a belt to a painful tightness. These are comfortable jeans that look traditional without being embarrassingly inflexible.

Slight imperfection
Love these jeans, except for a fabric weakness a couple inches below the fly. It’s more of a cosmetic thing. I could even see it in a new pair, which I sadly returned.

Inconsistent sizing
Ordered 2 of 35x32 one pair fits loosely borderline to big the other was a little tight. Called they sent a new pair to replace the right ones and those were even tighter so sent them back and kept pair that was a little too tight. Something is going have purchased numerous ll bean flex jeans in 35x32 has always been the right size. 6’ 195

The jeans are fine but...
Somewhere along the way somebody decided that small buttons and buttonholes were a good idea. The front buttonhole on these jeans (and also on a pair of khakis I ordered) is so tight it's aggravating trying to button/unbutton them. Just pray you never have a bowel emergency while wearing them. I've experienced the same situation with shirts I've ordered from LL Bean. Other than that, the jeans are fine...

Why did they get scratchy?
I have a pretty new pair of these jeans and for whatever reason they got scratchy and sort of pilly on the inside. They were so uncomfortable they were unwearable. Then I used a lint shaver on the inside and it made it quite a bit better but they are still kind of marginal. Otherwise I like the jeans.
