For nearly 90 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Was going to buy it…
In years past I have loved the Scotch plaid shirts for their quality and Scotch vibe. I was about to purchase the antique Stewart until my wife read the reviews and said look again. Sure enough, the plaids don’t line up on the side seams. How unseemly! In photos of the different patterns some are not even close. I’d pay a bit more to have the old thickness and seam-matched patterns. LL - we come to you for that kind of quantity. Can you go back to it again?

Brilliant, IMO best flannel shirts ever.
Purchased a couple flannel shirts from LL Bean in November, and they were so good, I am up to 14 total a few weeks later and will check again next fall 100%. Would recommend to all, a must have.
