Pretty shirt, wish it were softer like madras
I bought this shirt because I couldn't find another madras shirt of the same style. I'm wearing the old one from maybe 5-7 years back every day in the garden, as it is old and soft, protects my arms from the sun (I've had skin cancer so have to be careful), and is light and airy even in our southern climate. I adore it and hoped to get another. This seersucker shirt was the closest I could find. It's a nice shirt, well made, pretty colors, but the fabric is stiffer than I expected, and it seems like it might be hot to wear. I'm keeping it and have already washed it twice (without wearing), in hopes that in time it will become soft and airy just like the madras. That remains to be seen, though. Please bring back the women's madras shirts; I will buy one immediately!

Positives- lovely soft flattering summer colors. Disappointments - full cut is just not flattering and the color needs to be ironed to look good.

Beautiful & Comfortable
This button down shirt is beautiful and comfortable to wear. The fabric is good, solid quality. The color combination French lilac looks good on me. I have fair skin. It did well in the wash; no shrinkage, no color bleeding. I would suggest to order your usual size.
