Perfect for 5-6 days
At the age of 47 I decided my days of carrying a heavy duffel bag were over and wanted to switch to my first rolled bag. I knew I wanted something from LL Bean, one of my favorite brands.
I used this bag recently for a 5-day trip over Thanksgiving. I was able to fit 5 days’ worth of clothes, with a little room left over. Clothes included thick flannels and one fleece jacket - you may be able to fit more if you’re heading to a warmer area where thinner clothes are optimal. I rolled all clothing to maximize space.
The wheels worked well, the bag easily fit in the overhead bin, and was easy to maneuver with all of the handles. The zipper is big and sturdy, as is the bag itself.
I will say if you cram it super full the outside pocket can’t really be used because it’s too compressed from the items in the upper inner portion of the bag.
While it didn’t hold as much as my old duffel I’m pleased. Plus I think it looks so sharp (I opted for the green bag with orange trim). :)

Best carry on bag ever!
First trip with my new bag was 10 days in Ireland with 5 different hotel stays. This bag is lightweight, rolls easily, compact yet roomy. I really like the additional handles for maneuvering in tight overhead space. The exterior pocket is super handy as well. I love the green with the orange pipping. Smart! Worth every penny and will purchase the larger bag as well.

Simple, utilitarian
My older bag did not meet newer domestic carry-on regulations. Bottom and lid compartments just the right size separation. My old bag had a few more compartments, but I now find that they were too small to easily get in and out of, and I was frequently looking for something in the wrong compartment. Third outside zippered compartment big enough for the non-clothing articles I need to get to easily.

Fine but won’t fit my needs.
Looks like quality from my last purchased bag has decreased. Small front pouch. Used to have large one as well which provided me a lot of utility. Won’t fit in an overhead.
