Perfect for fall
I really like this sweatshirt/jacket, especially for the in-between seasons when I need long sleeves but not too much weight. It is a good length as well. As it gets colder I'll see how it does as a layer with a winter jacket on top. Meanwhile, it is true to size, comfortable , and useful.

Warm, but the quilted panel is fragile
I have the same issue as Carol - the quilted panel has big holes in it now, exposing some black part underneath. I've had mine for a while now, but this problem developed maybe a year into having it. I was shocked that something from LL Bean had such a major quality flaw. I still love and wear this at home for chilly days - it's very cozy - but charging $90 is nuts if the product can't hold its appearance for more than a year.

POOR Quality
I bought two of these sweatshirts and unfortunately after only a few wearings the front panels developed holes, black holes. Very unsightly. Huge waste of money. Think some compensation is in order.

Black is not true black, and don’t like the band at bottom…makes it okay for going to gym or taking a walk but not dressy enough for shopping, lunch, etc

Please bring tall sizes back!
This is the best sweatshirt, and it was so perfect in the tall sizing! I have it in several colors, and I was hoping to add more, especially black. Please bring back tall! LLBean shirts are all too short for average or tall women, and so this tall sizing is very important. If you do discontinue tall tops, I recommend lengthening all of your shirts in general to accommodate a more modern fit.

Tall sizes are perfection
Such a pretty sweatshirt that looks dressier than a hoody. I purchased this in navy blue and teal and wish I had more but it appears to have been discontinued. Please bring back the tall sizes!

Love it!
I love this garment. The dark plum works well for me because I wear a lot of neutrals, so this is a nice pop of color for me. It has a sturdy metal zipper, and the garment is true to size. The fabric is slightly heavy and soft to the touch. I think I’ll buy another in sea green.
