Warm and Comfortable!
This is a great jacket, it is warm and great when shopping. Great for walking as it it’s longer. I normally always wear a large but had to reorder for an extra large.

Nice coat not real flattering if your short! Just wore it on the beach in Maine I’d give it a 7 for warmth doesn’t keep the wind out ! Overall decent I’m keeping it

Comfortable Coat

Seeking a white coat to make me visible on dark winter evenings, I tried 2 LLB fleece coats. IMO they failed my needs: 1)too few pockets for winter accessories, 2) sleeves too long for a short woman, without inside cuffs for warmth/length adjustment, 3) an oversized hood w/o visor, 4)about as dumpy and unflattering as anything I've ever tried on. TL;DR not chic or comfy. Back to LLB they both went.

Warm but not soft
We gave this coat as a gift to my daughter who had it on her wishlist. She loves it. I decided to buy one for myself in one of the sale colors and I was disappointed. It is not soft. I felt like I was wearing a garment made of broadloom carpet so I returned mine. I gave it 5 stars based on my daughter’s opinion, not my own.

A great mid-season coat
I REALLY like this coat. It is perfect when the weather first turns crisp. It's long enough to keep your torso covered without being a hindrance. It keeps you dry too. I've worn it dog walking and then the rain started. Yes, the fleece was wet, but I wasn't!
A suggestion for future variations of this coat would be to include an internal pocket that L.L. Bean is famous for! You can never have too many pockets!

Form fitting
I love the look of this jacket and bought a medium, my normal size. I would have preferred a large if they had it, for a little looser fit. The inside reminds me somewhat of neoprene, which isn’t bad.
