Sorry, but I have to rant for a minute! I am a size 2, but the XS size was SO big I could have fit another person in the pants with me!! Come on, LL Bean - I know Americans tend to be on the plump side today, but not all of us are large people. I honestly think I may have to shop in the children's section; I just can't find anything that will fit me today - it's ALL generously sized. The pants are going to be returned.....

the fabric was nice, but the fit was ridiculous. Either mislabeled or the "small" was referring to a water buffalo! I've never had such a mismatch from LL Bean before.

Thank you for Medium Tall options
It's so hard to find medium tall clothes. When I stumbled on these, I was skeptical to order on-line, but tried it anyway. They fit perfectly and were so comfortable! These are still my go to pants - I'm absolutely mortified that none of the medium tall sizes are in stock and really need some more.

Disappointed
I just purchased a pair of the cropped version of these pants in small and I really liked them and they fit great. So I ordered these in a small petite. I am 5’2 and 130 lbs. these pants are huge they fall below my heels. I have to draw the waistbands tight and roll it to keep the pants up. Since I washed them I am stuck with pants that don’t fit I assumed they would fit like the cropped version.

too long and big
I have worn these pants for years. Every time LL Bean uses a new manufacturer (you can tell this from where the pants were made) the sizing changes. Two versions ago were fine, the last ones (made in Malaysia) were too long so these new ones (made in Vietnam) I took to the tailor to be shortened (about one inch or more) to match the last pair. Unfortunately I did not try them on first. They are not only too long, but the waist is too large, the legs are too wide, and the distance from the waist to the crotch is about two inches too long. They are baggy, uncomfortable and look and feel awful.
