Our cozy sherpa-lined robe instantly warms up cool nights and mornings. Made of our ultrasoft cotton flannel in authentic Scottish tartans, with a toasty-warm sherpa fleece lining.
An L.L.Bean exclusive, our plush flannel is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Totally started falling apart after 1 year
I had a couple years. Was a Christmas gift. Withing 1st year belt started falling apart. Second year whole robe was falling apart. I live in arizona desert. Rarley wear. Been washed maybe 2 to 3 times. I have cheap robes 5 years. Still good. Highly disappointed for expensive robe. Maybe was defective from the start

It's so warm and comfortable I never have to turn the heat on in the house. For anyone who thinks it may be kind of expensive, think about what you could save on your heat bill. I love it.

Best bathrobe ever
I love this bathrobe and it's the second one I've had, the first I had for 15 years although the cuffs were a bit frayed for the last two. What I like most is how warm the fleece lining is but the outer layer is flannel so it doesn't attract dog hair like a plain fleece robe would. I know most of llbean customers have dogs and can appreciate this

Wore out too quickly
When I bought this robe, it was wonderful! It was the warmest robe and extremely comfortable. When I got it out to begin wearing it for this season, I found that one of the sleeves had worn through completely in a 3-4 inch square area, exposing the lining. I have never had a flannel shirt or robe show wear at the elbows in my entire life, and I am 77! This would indicate poor quality fabric use in an otherwise premium product. I am also noticing poor quality fabric in LL Bean shirts. I have been an LL Bean customer for over 30 years, but your decline in quality has now caused me to look to other sources as a first choice. I am very disappointed.
