Mock neck seems larger now
Although I'm a woman, I've ordered L.L.Bean men's products for many years and loved them. This time both the mock neck and henley seemed larger. I noticed that they're now made in another country from the older ones I have. To be clear, they are well-made and I do recommend them. But the size is too big for me now, so I can't give it 5 stars despite the fine quality. Not sure anyone else would notice or even find this worth considering, but figured I'd share my experience anyway in case this applies to anyone else.

Dependable Wardrobe Perrenial
The quality and cut of Bean's turtlenecks and "faux" turtles are the best on the market. I've tried others that cost twice as much and they tend to sag or fade after a year or two's regular wear. I've had a few Bean turtlenecks since 2000 that still look and feel as fresh as new.

It's very breezy, doesn't cover a lot of area, I feel naked wearing my imaginary shirt. I feel even more foolish for buying 2 of them. Now twice a week I feel topless, naked and vulnerable.

Still High Quality
Remember buy the long version. They'll shrink in the length eventually. You don't wasn't to look like the guy on Steely Dan's early album, shrunk up past his navel. Peace!
