Size Large/Tall is More Like XXL/Super Long
The shirt did not fit. It was size large/tall. I hoped for a shirt that was a regular large in the body with sleeves that were an inch or two longer and a waist an inch or two longer than a regular large. I have purchased other large/tall shirts from other manufacturers where this expectation was met. What I received I would describe as a double extra large in the body with sleeves four or five inches longer than a regular large and waist seven or eight inches longer than a regular large. For reference, I'm 6'2" 190 lbs. This shirt would be plenty roomy on someone 6'5" and 250 lbs. Otherwise, the quality of the shirt appears to be fine and the service was good.

Good Quality and Fits Well
I bought a few of these because I like the look of turtlenecks but don't like the feel of fabric that high on my neck. These look and fit great. I have a 16.5" neck. These are not tight but also not too loose. I'll buy more of these.

Because L.L. Bean does not believe in a lot of plus size clothing, this woman has switched to men’s clothing, which has a much better range of sizes. This shirt was One of my first purchases in the men’s department and I love it.
