Great for Curling--But Need More Belt Loops
As a regular curler, I was seeking pants that are both warm, flexible and durable. The Fleece-Lined Cresta Pants are almost perfect: Accommodating when bending low to deliver curling stones, warm enough for spending two hours in an ice shed, and resistant to scuff marks when the knee contacts the ice. The one flaw is an inadequate number of belt loops--having only five loops where comparable active pants have seven. Having just five (including one loop on each hip and one in the back) leaves gaps where the pantwaist doesn't stay snug to the waistband, requiring the wearer to frequently "pull up their pants."

Better than expected
The fit is as perfect as it can get for this old body. They are not as uncomfortably warm in doors as I expected. The fabric is very soft and comfortable but tougher than I expected. While using a Dremel tool my hand slipped and the tool wound itself into the leg of my pants. When I unwound it there was no damage to the fabric. Whoo hoo!

Very comfortable and warm. They are a little too warm when hiking in the low 30's F but they were perfect for a low exertion activity, checking in and starting driving teams at a sports car rally with temperature around 5 deg F and a light wind.

Overall great pants, very warm. Great for winter outdoor activities. The front hand pockets could really use some work. The opening is awkwardly small, difficult to reach in with a gloved hand….particularly annoying as you are wearing them out for the before-mentioned winter activities.

Great Pants for bike commute!
There's already about 1,400+ reviews for these, but I'll throw in my 2cents. I have been using these for commuting to work on my bike in cold weather. They are perfect for a short ride and then look good enough to wear all day in the office. I am comfortable in the office and don't overheat; so they are good both for blocking the wind and keeping your legs warm and not too hot for the office. I also use them for winter hikes/snowshoes as they are lined and warm. I've had one pair for several years and then just bought two more for the commute. I could not find any other equivalent pants on the market? I am 5'9 and weigh 185lbs and the 34 waist and 32 length fit slightly loose on me, but I like the fit.
