The softest long-lasting flannel, designed in a flattering longer length. Our scotch plaid tunic is available 100% authentic Scottish tartans - all specially yarn-dyed so they'll stay bright.
This exclusive flannel tunic is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

My favorite
I *live* in these plaid flannel tunic shirts literally all winter long. And I use them as light jackets outdoors in the spring and fall. They're the most comfortable shirt I've ever had, and they are just the right weight to stay warm without feeling weighed down.

Flannel tunic in plaid, seasonal favorite
My winter pants are mostly leggings. This tunic over a long-sleeved t-shirt or pull-over sweater is perfect for a chilly day. Flannel is soft, easy care (didn't wrinkle fresh out of dryer).

BEST FLANNEL SHIRTS EVER!
I started buying these a few years ago and several of them. They are excellent quality cozy flannel, launder well (as long as you don’t mind ironing), no shrinkage when hung dry. My only complaint is what happened to the traditional Scottish plaids?? PLESASE, LL Bean, bring this shirt back in those well loved and well known plaids!
