Only 1lb heavy compared to other brands 2-2.5 lb clunkers, critical for me to hit my 7kg international flight weight cap. My iPad stays put during the flights due to stuffing the pack full, but when used as local EDC, the lack of even a simple unpadded fabric panel to keep the iPad centered and not sliding out of place means the only way to carry it is to wrap it in a fleece. A simple panel, just like in my Deluxe version, would suffice to make this perfect retro pack even more perfect!

More colors pls!
Please do this size in the new Silver Pine color! My son has used this backpack all through school and I wanted one for my daughter but she doesn't like any of the colors in this size.

Great quality as always with LL Bean! I wish the color description for the blue with orange zipper was more detailed. I thought it was blue with a red zipper from the photos, but the zipper is more of a red orange color in person. I still love the bookbag, it just doesn't match the colorblock lunchbox I ordered to go with it as well as I thought it would since the colorblock is a true red and blue.
