Warm and comfortable
I highly recommend these pants. They are easy to put on over a pair of undergarments. I bought them because I use a scooter, wheelchair or crutches because of a disability. The wind and cold no longer bothers my legs so I don't mind going out in really cold, windy weather. The snap is a bit tricky, but I just practiced before I put them on. Now I have no problem, and I do have arthritis in my hand. I appreciate the side Velcro flaps. Loosen them to pull the pants up and tighten them to keep them secure around my waist. I find them so comfortable; I wear them around the house to keep my legs warm.

Comfortable, warm, great investment!
It is the best investment for my Arctic trip. I am petite (5'3'') and it fits well. It kept me warm and dry in the coldest days. The unexpectedly good aspect is: I didn't feel hot to wear it for a few hours inside the hotel while waiting for the transportation. Highly recommended.

The Best Snow Pants
Great snow pants. I purchased for a trip to Sweden to see the Northern Lights. I tried many brands and different styles, bibs vs pants, and chose these snow pants from LL Bean. They are easy to put on, have an adjustable waistband, and were comfortable. I chose these not only for the fit but because they are also water proof. When above the arctic circle it can snow anytime and you need to stay dry to stay warm. They were perfect.

Smaller Waist Than Expected
Since the L.L. Bean Size Chart claims that size M is a 10-12, I confidently ordered these because I am a consistent size 10 in pants from many other companies. So I was surprised when the waist was a bit small. I am definitely not a size 12 currently, so this size range seems off. I would say they run more closely to a Women's 8-10. I'm debating whether or not to keep them. Also, the waist isn't very high.

Great quality and pants, read more about sizing:
I LOVE THESE SKI PANTS, but sizing was a little confusing based on reviews. I am usually a size L, sometimes a M, in pants (size 10, 30 in jeans), 5’6, and about 160 lbs. Based on the size chart, I was a M based on pant size, but a L based on measurements. I was planning on getting a L, but after reading all the reviews and people in similar situations, everyone said to size down at least one size, because they run HUGE. So, I got a medium, and they button and zip up, but are a little snug in the waist, so I am returning for a large. They could have worked, but it was slightly uncomfortable to sit down and I didn’t want to have to deal with that when I am skiing or having to wear base layers. When I did the “Find My Size” feature, I was told to get a L, so I would recommend getting whatever it tells you to get (regardless of the reviews). I think that LL Bean may have adjusted the sizing to be more accurate after so many bad reviews regarding sizing so keep that in mind. The legs fit perfect and I love the high rise but slightly baggy leg. I would not listen to the people saying they are super long and super baggy, because they are not. I am 5’6 and the regular length was perfect on me, and the legs fit slightly baggy, but just like the pictures. I wanted a baggier ski pant, but didn’t want them to be huge and wanted them to still be flattering. These pants are SO flattering (although a little snug in the waist) and perfect fit down the leg. This is just what I was looking for!!!
