Good Short Term. Will leak long term.
Shoes were waterproof (walking in wet grass) for the first 2.5 years. After that, socks get soaked when walking in wet grass.

Reluctant husband tries L. L. Bean slip ons.
We ordered size 8 medium width. They are a good fit. I have had L L. Bean shoes for 10 years. My husband finally gave in and tried them. He likes them.

Great at first but leak after about a year
I bought these shoes in 2023 and have worn them every day either to walk the dog, work in the garden, or just to do morning chores in the yard. They are very comfortable although I added my own insole right away as the inside had an odd curve to it where the big toe and pinky toe felt raised up compared to the middle of the foot. And after about a year the left shoe wore through the side at the pinky toe and caused a separation of the outer gum sole from the other material and started to leak. Now, almost 2 years from purchase, both sides leak so I no longer wear them in wet weather. They still look ok and I am contemplating ordering a larger size, although the length was ok, it is the width that is the problem even though it says "EE." I like the slip-on convenience and ability to wear with or without a wool sock. Wider width would get them 5 stars!

Quick On and Off
I can quickly slip these shoes on and off which makes for fast going to and from my house and outside and it is especially nice when it has been raining outside. Repels mud great as well.

Great shoe... for a while
The shoes fit well and are very useful for my purposes of yard work. Sadly, after about two years (2023-25) the shoes literally fell apart, separating between the leather and rubber seam. Literally disintegrated. Pretty expensive shoe to last only two years. Bean products generally look good, but this is an example of cheap foreign sourced goods that are very expensive junk.

Best boot EVER
I’ve ordered this boot for years. I buy 2. One for travel one for farm work. I’ve logged 7 miles in one day on vaca. Pain free. Now I have plantar fasciitis on one foot and bunion on other. With my insert I it’s only shoe I can wear. I only want sh you’d bring it back in women’s. I bought your last two pair and as much as I wear them (all the time). They should last minimum 2 yrs

Interesting foot bed
Absolutely love these shoes... BUT the heel-toe drop is very unusual: You can feel yourself tipping back; almost all weight is perceived as in the heel. No go for me.
