These shoes will outlast me!
Great choice for a man my age (80)! Don't have to bend down to put them on; just slip into them and go!
Warm, waterproof, and very comfortable with a great tracking sole. My go to shoes in wet,cold, and snowy weather.

Right shoe leaking again.
Last pair I bought started leaking after 5 years and why I bought this pair. This pair leaking on right foot, after approximately 3 years. Of course, warranty only good for a year, very poorly made. Another example L.L. Bean nothing like it used to be. Poor quality of everything pushing me away. They really used to be the go to store for outdoor clothing.

Very comfortable….leaks walking in short grass
I really like these for walking my dog. They slip on easily and are comfortable on most terrain. The reason I bought them was that I was tired of my sneakers getting soaked walking through the short grass with the morning dew. Unfortunately, the left shoe of these storm chasers leaks, and I always come back with a wet foot.
LLBean would really have a great shoe if they could fix this design flaw.

Good Short Term. Will leak long term.
Shoes were waterproof (walking in wet grass) for the first 2.5 years. After that, socks get soaked when walking in wet grass.

Reluctant husband tries L. L. Bean slip ons.
We ordered size 8 medium width. They are a good fit. I have had L L. Bean shoes for 10 years. My husband finally gave in and tried them. He likes them.
