Excellent Craftsmenship!
I absolutely love these boots. I have orthotics that don't fit into regular shoes/boots. Ladies' boots were not wide enough so I bought these (7W) and they fit perfect--with no "breaking in" time. They are soft enough that they feel like you've had a long time. These will definitely be my favorites for a long time. Highly recommended.

Favorite Boots
I own MANY pairs of boots and these became my favorite the moment I put them on. I saw reviews about sizing issues and stiffness. Online L.L.Bean indicates to order usual size, which I did (10.5) and the fit is perfect. Also out of the box already felt broken in. They are already an old friend I wear everyday. Very happy with my purchase.

Excellent Boot, Very Comfortable
This is a well made and comfortable boot that is true to size. I normally wear a 9 1/2 wide so that is what I ordered and the fit was perfect. I wore these on a three day trip to NYC and walked a total of 18 miles with no issues. One minor criticism, the product description should note that the inner soles can be changed, that is an important feature for me.

These were falling apart within two weeks of use. And I had to pay to send the shoddy product back. I will not buy another product from LL Bean.
