The original fisherman's sweaters of the Aran Islands were knit with designs that told stories of a rich coastal heritage. Not for me, really long
As this is apparently a shorter cardigan I tried it for my petite plus self, but maybe people in Maine have much longer arms. The sleeves themselves end several inches beyond my fingertips (too long to roll up). It's not cozy and the beige seems sad. In photos, it looks fantastic, so others obviously look great in it, just not me

Not quite like the photo
Heavy with no give. Feels like macrame cording. It’s cold inside. Was not able to button because it’s too narrow in hips

A favorite cardigan
I get complements on this sweater every time I wear it out. I went with the next size up for layering purposes. I’ve also worn it with a vest in lieu of putting on a jacket. I liked it so much that I also bought the sweater in dark gray.

Lovely sweater. Just needed in XXS or a petite
Great look, great quality. Sadly I returned because the smallest size was too large. I have others from another year so not all was lost. Doesn't run large; I am just a small person.
