Product Details
A new twist on a nautical tradition, our Irish fisherman cardigan sweater features a flattering shorter length and a more fitted style in soft cotton yarns.
The original fisherman's sweaters of the Aran Islands were knit with designs that told stories of a rich coastal heritage. From good luck to a plentiful catch, special sentiments were represented in each and every stitch. We've recreated those same authentic cable patterns in a fitted yet easygoing silhouette.
- Beautifully knit with authentic cable patterns.
- 100% cotton.
- Machine wash, dry flat.
- Button-front styling.
- Great over dresses or woven shirts.
- Ribbed at the neck, cuffs and sweep.

Fit is odd
I have been wanting this sweater for a very long time but am disappointed in the fit. The arms are very tight, I would not be able to comfortably were even a thin tee underneath. The collar is unnecessary too, just keep hitting my cheek.

best LL Bean purchase ever
I love the look of this sweater, I bought it one size up so it comes over my hips and butt, and. it is so attractive! Beautiful color and workmanship. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
I would buy another if it came in a true white or good green.
