The original fisherman's sweaters of the Aran Islands were knit with designs that told stories of a rich coastal heritage. From good luck to a plentiful catch, special sentiments were represented in each and every stitch. Classic LLBean sweater
I bought this sweater in a size medium in the green with pine trees. The green is a deep green. The pine trees are well defined. I am almost 5'11" with very long arms, so I was a bit nervous about the sleeve and overall length. The arms work, just barely, and the body of the sweater works as well, though I would prefer two or three more inches in length. But it looks great with high waisted jeans and skirts and over dresses. The options to style this are endless. And it is all cotton! I continue to find myself gravitating to LLbean because of their selection of classic, quality, and natural fibers offered in timeless pieces.

So much material in the back
I love everything about this sweater except the enormous amount of extra material in the back. It looks frumpy. The arms are a little snug considering how relaxed the middle section is. I’m 5’3 and 134 pounds

Beautiful Sweater, however...
Beautiful sweater, but fit is not perfect and there are considerable amout of loose knit holes throughout the sweater design so definitely need to wear a long sleeve base layer underneath to avoid feeling a chill. Fits well in chest, however, snug at hip area. Looser fit at upper arm area and more snug fit at lower arm area. There's loose material that bags out in back area. Length falls at bottom of zipper on my jeans low waist high hip area. For reference, I'm 5'5"; 170 lbs; 36 D chest; 33" waist; 43" hip.

Like a hug! Great sweater for a doodle mom!
Comfortable and warm but not too warm. Cute pattern, soft. Good colors, neutral enough background to wear with a lot of things but colorful enough design to be fun. A little weight to it as cotton knit but not too heavy to want to wear it. Feels like a hug.

The deepest green cardigan fits my 5 foot body
I was so disappointed they did not offer the green tree sweater in petite. Read a comment that it ran short. So I gave it a try and the body and sleeve length are perfect in the medium for my 5 foot, 120 pound body. A lot of taller people are going to be frustrated.
