The original fisherman's sweaters of the Aran Islands were knit with designs that told stories of a rich coastal heritage. From good luck to a plentiful catch, special sentiments were represented in each and every stitch. Dark Green Sweater Sizing Comments
This review is for the new dark green cardigan with tree design. The color and design are lovely. Quality is nice. However, the sizing has changed from last year. I own the red with boot design and the oatmeal color with blue flowers and loved the fit and style. This year's model, in dark green, is three inches shorter. The design area is smaller. While the overall look is nice, I'm returning because the dark green cardigan is just too short for me.

Beautiful weave.
The woven pattern in this sweater is beautiful and very unique. The collar is high, and that’s not ideal for the turtlenecks I wear all the time. It’s a heavy sweater.

This orchid version was my fifth purchase from this line, and I love it just as much as all the others. Since receiving it, I’ve ordered another—the Golden Retriever version. That one is terrific, too. LL Bean’s size recommendation has worked well for me, as well!

Outstanding sweater with fun design.
LLBean Signature always provides great, outstanding clothing and this sweater is such a wonderful example of the over-the-top sweaters that I simply love. Great weight and design and made of COTTON - which I love. I purchased the design with what looks like Golden Retrievers. As a dog lover and owner of three dogs, this was a great find. Worn it with a long sleeve T and received lots of compliments.
