The original fisherman's sweaters of the Aran Islands were knit with designs that told stories of a rich coastal heritage. From good luck to a plentiful catch, special sentiments were represented in each and every stitch. This sweater is exactly what I was hoping it would be. It is so soft, comfortable, and nice fitting. The Labradors are adorable and the prime reason I bought it. It is my favorite sweater. It fits true to size, and is a nice heavy weight while being light at the same time. It hangs beautifully.
