So glad i bought these
It has been years since I found a pair of jeans that would fit me! I am a size 10 petite and pants are always baggy in the rear end due to my flat rear end. When I saw these jeans advertised as tighter in the hips and thighs I decided to order them and am very happy that I did. The waist is a little snug but the fit is great!

Zipper won't stat up
After shortening the legs by about 4 1/2" (I am 5'5") they fit wetl and comfortably. BUT one big BUT makes them practically unwearable. The zipper has no lock and won't stay up. So either I keep it in place with a large safety pin (which makes me look like a cartoon baby) or let it go and wear a tunic over. To add insult to injury, the slider is much smaller than the puller, so when the slider unzips itself, the slider gets trapped in the placket and has to be wrestled out. I'll probably replace the zipper, since I know how to sew one - but that sort of adjustment to an item this expensive is outrageous

Jeans as advertised
These are the first pair of jeans that I've bought in decades that I find comfortable. They fit well but have a stretch to them. The color is light denim blue.

Disappointed — These Jeans Aren’t the Same Anymore
I’ve been wearing L.L. Bean’s Women’s BeanFlex® Jeans, Mid-Rise Straight-Leg for years and absolutely loved them. I’ve purchased multiple pairs because they always fit beautifully, were comfortable right out of the box, and held up well over time. One of the best things about them is that they come in Medium/Tall (M/T) — a perfect option that’s hard to find anywhere else.
However, the pair I ordered recently just isn’t the same. The fit feels smaller (even though I ordered my usual size) and the material feels different — stiffer and less comfortable than before. I even tried two different sizes, but neither fit like my older jeans.
I really hope L.L. Bean brings back the original fit and fabric that so many of us loved. Those jeans were comfortable, flattering, and dependable — everything you expect from L.L. Bean quality.

Disappointed -- style has changed
I first bought these jeans in a size 6 two years ago and they were the best jeans I ever owned: high quality material, deep pockets I can actually use, form-fitting cut and straight legs. I recently purchased a new pair (exact same size and color), and they are now kind of baggy in the thighs. For reference, I'm 5'5", 127lbs.

Favorite jeans
The Beanflex are my favorite jeans. They look neater - and to the extent some jeans can look slightly more dressy with sweaters and neatly cut tees than others, these do. They are comfortable, attractive and flattering.

Good, comfortable jeans.
These are a good weight and fit well. I need jeans that can move with me when we're unloading trailers and these do a nice job. I do have to wear a belt if wearing them more than one time.
