Great tee but it does shrink
I used to have the waffle knit henley in a few colors and have gradually had to get rid of them as they got way too short in the body and the sleeves. Now the same thing is happening to the waffle knit crew necks that I’ve bought. I like the cut of these shirts and I find them comfortable, but after repeated laundering they absolutely DO shrink.

Neck is stretched out
I like the color and fabric on this shirt and it doesn’t shrink in the wash. I gave it three stares because the neck is stretched out and doesn’t sit flat on my neck and shoulders.

SURPRISED
Just received unshrinkable, and it is mini-waffle shirt. The color is great, does not shrink and does not need ironing. I purchased a medium as I hoped it would negate my slight tummy. It works however it is roomier and longer than I expected. The neckline as several have stated does not lay flat and more pronounced when layering a shirt over the garment. I decided to keep the size medium however will order a small (usual size) and see how that fits. Slightly fitting is stretching it. Boxy is a more definitive description.

Bad Neckline
This Mini-Waffle Tee is from the recent current line and I unfortunately received one with a neckline that would not lay flat, bunched up in the back, and was uncomfortable. I compared it to the 3 that I had purchased 1 & 2 years ago (and became my favorite shirts) The neckline was smaller and laid flat as a crewneck should.
Disappointed since I was glad that the tee was available with new colors.

Long sleeve?
I've discovered that the sleeves are too short on most LL Bean long-sleeve tee purchases. I will likely not purchase another long sleeve again because of this shortcoming -- which is unfortunate because all other aspects of the tees are quite good (i.e. fabric, construction, color options). I don't want long sleeve tees that stop short of my wrist! Also the size labels are very scratchy so I have to remove them.
