Sturdy but too stiff
I got these last fall for my 2-year-old in hopes they'd be good for hiking. While they were sturdy shoes, they were obviously quite clunky too and they were very hard to get on, even though I had sized up to a 9 (he was wearing 8 at the time), and the result is that he did not want to wear them. I think he wore them a total of 3-4 times and would complain every time he had them on that he didn't like them. He never developed blisters or anything, but he definitely walked funny when he had them on. So these would probably be fine for an older kid, but not really a great shoe for a toddler.

These boots are great once you can get them on but it was a pain to get them on my toddlers feet. They’re very tight. She’s a size 6.
